Mrs. Lauren
Founder and lead teacher
Mrs. Lauren was born and raised in WNC with a true love and appreciation for the outdoors, especially the mountains. Mrs. Lauren has three children of her own and understands that early education in an outdoor setting is vital for a healthy childhood. Mrs. Lauren has been a registered nurse since 2018, and before that worked with children at Mars Hill Elementary school. Mrs. Lauren has experience with children with special needs through the Arc of Buncombe County. Mrs. Lauren is also continuing her education by receiving her Nature-based Teacher certification.
Ms. Kim
Teacher
Ms. Kim is one of our amazing teachers who will be running our focussed lessons, story time, and craft time. Ms. Kim has been a teacher in North Carolina for over 20 years for children ranging from kindergarten through second grade.
Mr. Trevor
Business Manager
Mr. Trevor is our wonderful business manager who makes sure that Evergreen Forest School is running accordingly with our daily operations, staff, and resources. Students and parents/guardians may see him occasionally, so give him a big wave if you do!
